Cabopol offers high-performance thermoplastic and crosslinkable compounds for automotive wire and cable. Our Lacoflex® TPE/TPU, Sofiplus® PP/XLPO, and Polyprime® PVC grades cover applications from T2 to T4, including EV charging.
Lacoflex® ensures flexibility at low temperatures (-40ºC), abrasion resistance, and options for halogen-free flame retardancy. TPU versions provide excellent mechanical and UV resistance up to 125ºC.
Sofiplus® crosslinkable compounds meet ISO 6722 and LV 112, supporting high-temperature resistance (>125ºC), abrasion performance, and long-term thermal ageing.
Polyprime® PVC solutions offer cost-effective performance for T2, T3, JASO and CIVUS, combining flexibility, oil resistance, and thermal stability.

Cabopol delivers specialised compounds for data, coaxial, Ethernet, and CAN cables used in modern automotive communication systems. Our Lacoflex® TPE/TPU and Sofiplus® PP/PE/XLPE solutions combine halogen-free flame retardancy, oil resistance, and flexibility from -40°C to +125°C.
These materials are designed for high electrical performance, offering stable impedance, low dielectric constants, and strong shielding compatibility. Suitable for both solid and foam dielectrics, they support consistent cable dimensioning and signal integrity.
Cabopol’s compounds also provide abrasion resistance, recyclability, and low smoke emissions, meeting the demands of harsh automotive environments. Standard or customised grades are available to meet your exact application needs.
